The following information is well summarized in Life West's publication "The California Law Examination" (PDF, 1 p.)

California Board of Chiropractic Examiners http://www.chiro.ca.gov/   The website has links for consumers, licensees, and business (functions of the Board).   CBCE recommends that its site be reviewed monthly for regulatory and informational updates.  Decisions Pending page includes instructions for commenting on procedures and proposed regulations

The CBCE requires chiropractors applying for state licensure to pass the law and professional practice examination.  It contains questions that may reference the law in any of the codes or regulatory sections.

In preparing to take the exam, there are several links to review at the Board's site:

  • Board of Chiropractic Examiners Rules and Regulations  (PDF, 50 p. as of June 2010 revision) based on Title 16.  Professional and Vocational Regulations   Division 4. State Board of Chiropractic Examiners    Section 301 forward.     This document notifies readers as follows:  While every effort is made to assure that the information on this Web site is current, always refer to the California Code of Regulations to guarantee the most current information.
