We have important news for prospective students! In accordance with the CCE (the accrediting agency of chiropractic colleges), Life Chiropractic College West is making a change to our entrance requirements beginning on January 1, 2013.
Please read carefully! These changes will affect you and we want you to be fully informed so you can act accordingly. These changes are likely to cause you to consider taking different courses to prepare for your chiropractic education.
The new requirements have three major changes:
- Increased minimum over-all GPA: the new standard requires a 3.0 GPA for standard admissions or a 2.75 for the AATP track (read more about the AATP track here)
- Less prescriptive science coursework requirements: Rather than mandate specific classes in various areas, the new requirement lets the prospective student choose 24 semester hours in life and physical sciences. Half of these classes will still require a lab.
- Do you already have a four year degree? With a high enough GPA, you may be eligible to enroll today! We VERY STRONGLY recommend that you take science courses prior to entering in order to be properly prepared for the rigors of a program which relies upon science familiarity.
