Office of Institutional Research

The Office of Institutional Research works with the various data sources available on campus to analyze and interpret the information generated. Data is interpreted and presented to appropriate constituents of the college in an effort to guide the institution in making data-informed decisions affecting various components of the college and within the program. Past and current data is reviewed to identify trends, including strengths and gaps, and measured based on set benchmarks. Thresholds are established based on aggregate data collected for various key areas, including student services, program effectiveness and service.

Institutional Research includes:

  • Collection of quantitative and qualitative data for planning, evaluation and decision-making.
  • Quarterly and annual tracking, trending, and reporting of student metrics including enrollment, demographics, persistence, course pass/fail rates and graduation rates for internal planning and decision making.
  • Campus surveys including graduate exit surveys, alumni surveys and campus climate/experience surveys.
  • Compliance reporting for state and federal requirements (IPEDS).
  • Internal reports
  • External reports (disclosures)
