Dr. Joe Ibe returns to serve his fellow Life West alumni

Life Chiropractic College West has welcomed back a 2010 graduate eager to serve his fellow alumni and colleagues. Joseph Ibe, DC, has been hired as Life West’s new Director of Alumni Relations, and he began carrying out his new duties earlier this week.

“I am grateful and excited to engage with our alma mater in this new capacity as Director of Alumni Relations,” Dr. Ibe said. “Life West has always held a special place in my heart, and my focus in this role is to continue to empower our community.”

Dr. Ibe will assist the Office of Institutional Advancement in efforts to keep Life West alumni engaged with their alma mater. He will also support the school’s preceptor program and the Career Services Center, both of which provide assistance to students as they prepare to graduate from Life West and enter the workforce as doctors of chiropractic.

“We’re excited to have Dr. Ibe join our team. He’s committed to growing the alumni base, and with his experience, he will bring innovative ways to connect with and expand our network of alumni and friends. I look forward to working with Dr. Ibe to keep these important connections strong.”

Following his graduation from Life West, Dr. Ibe founded a private practice focused on Blair upper cervical care at True Health Centers in San Mateo. Outside of his private practice, Dr. Ibe has developed professionally as a serial entrepreneur and strategist by bringing his expertise to a variety of health-related projects from startup to enterprise level.

A member of the Life West Alumni Association board, Dr. Ibe also has affiliated himself with other chiropractic organizations such as Delta Sigma Chi fraternity and Blair Chiropractic Society.

Dr. Ibe says he’s looking forward to hearing from Life West’s network of alumni and friends as he settles into his new role.

“I would like to extend an open invitation to connect in a meaningful way,” he said. “Share a story with me about your time within Sid Square and help me build a larger, tighter-knit community composed of Life West alumni and friends.”
