A banner of Dr. Sid E. Williams finds its riteful place at Life West’s Sid Square.
Dr. Steve Judson of Dynamic Essentials explains, “Dr. Sid Williams was a man who not only talked the talk but walked the walk. He spoke from a crystal clear vision and through that vision, his authority was heard. He fought the ultimate battle so we can have our freedom to practice principled chiropractic.”
In 1974, Dr. Williams founded Life College, which is now Life University. In addition to his other vast legacy, Dr. Williams was instrumental in preserving a stronghold for chiropractic when he helped a struggling Pacific States Chiropractic College by establishing Life Chiropractic College West.
Dr. Ron Oberstein is thankful for the vision of Dr. Williams, who was one of his mentors for over 30 years. “This larger-than-life picture cannot begin to match the impact of the larger-than-life man that Dr. Williams was. As the founder of Life West, we owe Dr. Williams a huge debt of gratitude. Our job is to continue to action his deep vision for chiropractic. I’m proud to have a picture of Dr. Williams in Sid Square.”
Dynamic Essentials is a program developed for chiropractic professionals. Their goal is to enable chiropractors to renew their sense of direction and support themselves in achieving their individual and professional goals.
DE was founded by Dr. Williams in 1964. His seminars focused on the principles of chiropractic and the idea of a “Lasting Purpose” which was defined as “to give, to love, to serve in abundance without expecting anything in return.” In a time where chiropractic faced huge criticism, DE was established as a method to save chiropractic.
