Life West Announces New VP of Academic Affairs

HAYWARD, CALIF. – Dr. Pardeep Kullar, a graduate of both UCLA and Pepperdine University, will step into a new role as Vice President of Academic Affairs at Life Chiropractic College West.

Dr. Kullar brings a strong presence in not only academics but also educational effectiveness and online learning. She has been heavily involved in the accreditation process and understands what it takes to create effective learning institutions.

Dr. Ron Oberstein, Life West President said her tenacious ability to grasp different pedagogies has propelled her in the pursuit of finding the most effective ways to create sustainable learning platforms to enhance the student experience.

“Dr. Kullar will heighten Life West not only as a great teaching institution in the classroom, but online as well,” he said. “Working with our outstanding faculty, we will see our students learning in the most advanced ways possible. Life West is proud to have Dr. Kullar join our institution and lead our office of Academic Affairs.”

In this role, she will lead the development, assessment, and growth of the curriculum. Dr. Scott Donaldson held the position previously for nearly seven years and is now championing Life West’s Monte H. Greenawalt Health Center as Vice President of Clinical Operations.

“I’m very excited to work side by side with her to integrate the academic program with the campus health center learning experience,” Donaldson said.

Dr. Kullar graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a bachelor’s degree, and earned her master’s and doctorate degrees in education and organizational leadership in 2011 from Pepperdine University.

She has a proven track record as a leader in higher education. She was Director of Compliance at Eagle Rock College in Los Angeles and later the Chief Academic Officer. She also served as Vice President of Academic Affairs at LIGS University in Honolulu. She has led programs at New York University and Amherst College in Massachusetts.

As founding president and executive director of the Young Women’s Leadership Group in Los Angeles, she helped recruit and develop the board from the ground up. Her non-profit organization served nearly 3,500 girls.
