VIDEO: Dr. Ron Oberstein Interviews Dr. Claudia Anrig
Life West President Dr. Ron Oberstein sat down for a video chat with Dr. Claudia Anrig, a past president of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association who also served on the ICPA board for 25 years. They discuss how Dr. Anrig is keeping her practice going during the current pandemic and present resources that can help patients during this time.
Health care volunteers are needed in California
Our Lasting Purpose is To Give, To Do, To Love, and To Serve out of our own abundance. One of the ways chiropractors can do that is by volunteering in the field and assisting our fellow health care professionals during this trying time.
Health care facilities are being bombarded by increasing demands. Chiropractors can provide assistance at quarantine sites, testing sites and medical surge facilities, and signing up to help is very easy. California chiropractors, for instance, can sign up at the California Health Corps website. You can indicate your occupation is medical and select “chiropractor” from the subsequent drop-down menu.
“We need all health care workers out in the field,” said California governor Gavin Newsom. “This is an all-hands-on-deck situation as we prepare for what’s ahead. Doctors, nursing students, EMTs and more: California needs you. Sign up. Spread the word.”
If you’re outside of California and interested in providing assistance to those in need, reach out to your state or local chiropractic association for ways you can volunteer.
