Check out ways to serve and celebrate the Earth this month

More than a BILLION people will participate in Earth Day events, which is celebrated on April 22, throughout the month of April.

Life Chiropractic College West staff, faculty and students are also teaming up for Earth Day activities. Beach and bay cleanups are planned, as well as other volunteer events to honor Earth Day and reboot green team activities on campus.

Life West professor Kerri Duggins-Rames, DC, Student Life Manager Dani Lorta, members of the student council and others have put together a list of different opportunities in the Bay Area. In addition, Life West faculty and staff will be at certain events, and the Life West community is invited to join and participate.

Here at Life West, we are celebrating our Green Business re-certification. We are moving to eliminate plastics and bioplastics from our campus, and we ask that everyone sort their trash into the three-stream bins on campus to better align our values with our actions.
