Life West graduate, Dr. Rhea Zimmerman Komarek, has directed and produced an exciting documentary film about the power of love and chiropractic.
The film features the journey of three chiropractors, Rhea Zimmerman, Alejandra Robles and Austen Komarek, on a chiropractic service trip in Peru. Love Bomb tells the story of chiropractic and its powerful impact on a community and an individual. It also tells the universal story of human beings finding ways to serve at their highest levels.
Both Rhea Zimmerman and Alejandra Robles are Life West graduates. Dr. Robles also serves as adjunct faculty at Life West teaching technique part time on the Life West campus.
Love Bomb features interviews with many luminary figures who weigh in on the topic of love and making a difference. The film features: Dr. Peter Amlinger, Kute Blackson, Gabrielle Bernstein, Elena Brower, Dr. Pat Chelenyak, Joseph Chilton Pearce, Sandra DelPrado, Guido DelPrado, Dr. Jay Komarek, Bruce Lipton, Dr. Jeanne Ohm, Dean Radin, PhD, Lisa Reagan, Marilyn Schlitz, Phd, Dr. Jim Sigafoose, and John Welshons.
Life West president, Dr. Brian Kelly, previewed the movie earlier this month and had this to say about it; “It is incredibly inspiring, very philosophical, has some serious scientists being interviewed, and some very moving chiropractic moments. I cried. It is an exploration into human relationships – with ourselves and others, and about the principles and practice of chiropractic.”
Life West has teamed up with Zimmerman Komarek to screen the film in San Francisco in August.
The movie is slated to be released on DVD in September and available for online streaming in October 2014. There are options to host a screening in your community. You can read more about the film and see a preview at www.lovebombthemovie.com.
