November CE schedule goes worldwide with exciting lineup

In addition to Life West’s on-campus Continuing Education (CE) offerings in November, the school is involved in a pair of world-class events overseas. It’s a busy month for CE sessions, one that offers plenty of chances for chiropractors to earn required hours.

In Israel and Great Britain

A Life West contingent featuring President Ron Oberstein, DC, and faculty members Dan Murphy, DC, and Jeff Scholten, DC, will head to Jerusalem to offer a two-day event scheduled for Nov. 7-8 at the Ramada Jerusalem Hotel. The seminar will be held in conjunction with the Israeli Chiropractic Society and also feature opportunities to explore one of the world’s most historic cities. Spots at the summit are still available and can be purchased on the official event page.

Dr. Oberstein and Dr. Murphy will also be offering a special seminar in the United Kingdom on Nov. 9. The seven-hour event will be held at Hälsa Hub in Windsor on Saturday, Nov. 9, and will be co-hosted by Ryan Rieder, DC. Discounted “early bird” tickets are on sale now.

CE Saturday Nov. 16 at Life West

Highlighting the slate of events on the Life West campus is a 12-hour CE Saturday scheduled for Nov. 16. The program features three sessions and allows chiropractors to meet live CE requirements for an entire year.

J. David Currie, DC

Dr. Currie’s session will include extensive instruction on the principles of effortless adjusting, which can be universally applied to current adjusting techniques. Additionally, Dr. Currie will explain when to adjust or not adjust the ilium or sacrum. Participants will also receive take-home exercises to improve speed and balance.

Dr. Schillinger runs a practice in nearby Marin, as well as a celebrated summer camp for teen boys and young men. He will teach the values of mindfulness and stress reduction. Implementing techniques focused on these practices, he reasons, allows patients to enjoy better results from adjustments and improved connections with their doctors.

ART Training and CCEP Module

Life West is also hosting a pair of multiple-day seminars. A four-day event focuses on active release techniques (ART), and a two-day Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner seminar looks at advanced principles of upper extremities.

About Life West CE

Continuing education is a critical part of any practicing chiropractor’s career. The California Board of Chiropractic Examiners requires 24 hours of continuing education to retain an active license, 12 of which must be completed via in-person training. Life West offers exceptional continuing education classes for chiropractors on convenient CE Saturdays, allowing busy clinicians to fulfill a large chunk of their live hours in one day. Stay current with mandated licensing requirements as you hone existing skills and learn about new and developing methodologies.
