Our live webinars now count toward in-person CE

We have great news for California chiropractors who need to fulfill their continuing education (CE) hours! The California Board of Examiners now allows live CE requirements to be met through Zoom-style webinars as well as in-person seminars. Through new “Morning Joe” and “Lunch With Life West” programs, Life Chiropractic College West offers an array of different options for chiropractors.

“Life West has at least 12 hours of live online CE every month,” Life West Director of Postgraduate and Continuing Education Laurie Isenberg said. “Our new breakfast and lunchtime series provide bite-size CE programs that fit in your busy schedule.”

Geraldine Mulhall-Wright, DC

Being able to provide chiropractic care for newborns, infants, and toddlers is a valuable tool for chiropractors looking to establish a family practice. This November, Life West is offering a six-hour session with faculty member Geraldine Mulhall-Wright, DC. This session provides six hours of CE exam/technique credit and the opportunity to learn or reinforce pediatric procedures.

“Infant Adjusting for the Practicing Chiropractor” is scheduled for 8 am – 2 pm on Saturday, Nov. 21. By the end of the session, attendees will be better able to properly examine children up to two years of age, identify signs and symptoms of children who may be on the autistic spectrum, and know when a child is ready for a transition to stronger, more manual adjustments.

November also features the beginning of the “Morning Joe” series, which kicks off on Tuesday, Nov. 10, and Thursday, Nov. 12, with two 8 am sessions discussing the Endocannabinoid System. Eileen Karpfinger, DC, will present anatomy and scientific research of the Endocannabinoid System and how to nourish and detox that system using non-psychoactive phytocannabinoids that are legal and safe. Attendees can earn six CE hours, including two Ethics hours.

You can still earn CE at the WAVE!

Life West’s premier chiropractic conference is still available for you to enjoy online. Sign up for the WAVE to enjoy sessions led by world-class speakers from the chiropractic profession while earning up to 20 hours of online CE credit.

These seminars on the science, philosophy, and art of chiropractic will be online through Dec. 31, 2020. Make sure you print or download your certificates of completion separately for each session you complete, as certificates will not be mailed to you.
