The Life West Rugby Gladiators continue their success

The Life West Rugby Gladiators continue their successful second season having won 8 games from 8, in a 10 game competition. Last Saturday they convincingly beat the San Francisco team Baracus 66-12. The West coast playoffs lie ahead, and the team continues to display incredible athleticism, skill and the chiropractic lifestyle. Pictured here is Calvin Nell, a first quarter scholarship player, originally from South Africa who is enjoying his first season of Gladiator Rugby.

He is wearing the team’s new jersey’s featuring the Standard Process sponsor logo on the front. The College has been working with the head scientist at Standard Process developing custom nutrition products to assist the athlete’s performance. Head DC Bruce Chester says “this will give our team an additional edge”.

The Women’s team the Gladiatrix also continue to improve in their inaugural season. Last weekend playing at home against the San Jose Seahawks they won 31-26.

The team recently had a donation of gym equipment and cash from Life West Alumnist Dr Rennie O’Brien who was involved in Life West rugby as a student many years ago.
