Service Trip Purpose
To provide a free chiropractic clinic to the people of Mexico City, Mexico on Sept. 26-28, 2022.
Under the supervision of DCs, interns will do initial screenings and chiropractic adjustments to promote optimal wellness for everyday life while also promoting chiropractic on these trips.
Interns will get up to 25 adjusting credits from the Health Center during these service trips. Students must be approved for Outpatient Care and be in good Academic Standing. We can only take up to 14 students on each trip.
Itinerary for Mexico:
- Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022 Must Arrive in Mexico City
- Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022 Orientation and team bonding
- September 26, 27, 28 Service Clinic Days
- Thursday, Sept. 29 or later Return to US
*You can return later per your personal travel plans. Life West is organizing the travel for this trip as it has for other Service Trips in the past. That is that each person makes their own flight plans and arrangements. That allows for control on when you leave and return, making additional travel, sightseeing and cultural experience personalized and possible. We recommend that you travel with other interns for both safety and convenience.
*The group will be staying together from Sept 24 to Sept 29 and room, meals and transportation costs from Saturday dinner through Thursday breakfast included in the registration costs. All expenses outside of these times are the student’s responsibility.
Cost of Program
Registration fee for Mexico: $495 due by July 29, 2022, we select the group by Aug. 3, 2022. Registration fees are paid to Teresa Geyer by Aug. 8 to hold your spot, non-refundable after August 12, 2022, which covers your local transportation, room for 5 nights, and meals from Sept. 25-28.
Round trip airfare: Each student to arrange, when scheduling your flight, please try to fly with other interns and purchase flight insurance.
