Toy Drive Spreads Smiles to Local Children

Life Chiropractic College West is pleased to announce that we’ve exceeded last year’s toy count in the 16th annual Toy Drive, hosted by the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District.

Since November, Life West has been collecting toys and gift cards from its faculty, staff, and students. Many patients from the Monte H. Greenawalt Health Center were also generous contributors to the toy drive.

The toy drive benefits low-income families residing in the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District, which includes Hayward, San Lorenzo, Castro Valley and unincorporated areas in the Alameda County.

We work with the City of Hayward, Hayward Area Recreation and Parks District, and the Hayward Police & Fire Departments who identify low-income families. Families who may face a variety of challenging problems such as: unemployment, disability, abuse, single parenting, poor health, and/or homelessness.

Our toy drive ends on December 11, so it’s not too late to bring happiness to the local children of Hayward. Stop by our donation bins located at Student Life and donate new toys to a family in need. Thank you to all for helping us spread the joy of giving.
