Cover Yourself During 2022-2023 Benefits Open Enrollment Season!
Life Chiropractic College West’s Employee Benefits Plan Enrollment opens TODAY! This is the annual opportunity for all employees to make changes to their benefit plan selections. During open enrollment, you can add or waive coverage, add and/or delete dependents and change benefit plan options effective May 1, 2022.
We have some exciting changes this year and wanted to give you a head start in learning about those changes prior to open enrollment beginning. You will also have an opportunity to speak with the insurance carriers directly in person at our Health Fair on March 22nd.
To help keep your health care costs down, Life Chiropractic College West is excited to offer a comprehensive benefits package through United HealthCare—replacing Anthem Blue Cross for 2022. This includes the following benefits:

Also new this year—Benefit Advocates that can help you with day-to-day benefit questions, claims issues, prescription issues, help with ordering ID cards, and locating doctors. Beginning now, you can access Paycom to make your 2022-2023 elections.
March 22nd – Employee Health Fair (on-site), 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
This is your chance to speak to all of our insurance carriers directly and ask questions about benefits, networks, and wellness. There will also be raffles and goodies to give away!
April 8th – Open Enrollment Ends
Please have all of your elections finalized by this date.

In addition to making traditional healthcare coverage available, Life West supports the art of self care and offers several options to help you live your life well.
A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of launching Headspace. As of today, we have 47 employees who have enrolled. Headspace was started with one mission—to improve the health and happiness of the world and with that comes mindfulness tools that are available to our employees 24 hours / seven days a week. Please take time to check in with your team to ensure they have log-in to see the benefits this application offers. In addition to our Employee Assistant Program that will continue to be provided through Anthem, Life West is excited to introduce our employees to several other health and wellness benefits:
If you have an Apple phone or Apple Watch, the United Healthcare Plan includes Apple Fitness+ FREE to eligible employees. Apple Fitness+ offers 11 workout types, ranging from HIIT to core to yoga. New workouts are added every week, lasting from 5 to 45 minutes… and the subscription can be shared with up to 5 family members.
The United Healthcare ‘Real Appeal Weight Loss Program’ is designed to help employees lose weight and keep it off In signing up for this program—employees will receive a health kit that includes a Nutritional Guide, a Portion Plate, an Electronic food Scale, Digital Weight Scale, Blender, Fitness Guide, and 12 fitness DVDs and Resistance bands. Other benefits include online classes, a personal health coach, entertaining and aspirational messaging, and Digital support and tracking
Finally, let’s look at the Simply Engaged Program: Employees will be able to earn up to $200 for completing health and wellness activities: Employees will be able to earn Rally Coins for rewards, plus earn financial incentives
