Student Update: On Friday, June 5, Alameda County released another updated order that continued the Shelter in Place and made minor changes that do not currently impact students or employees. You can see the new order here. All students will be updated by OAA in the next few days on arrangements for the Summer Quarter. Please look out for this important email.
Employee Update: Along with the new order, the County has released a Reopening Plan. Details can be viewed here. Movement to the next stage in the County plan is contingent on local COVID-19 indicators and will move at two to four week intervals from the date of this latest order. The next phase will be expanded social bubbles and the phase after that will include opening up offices. As we move toward the opening office phase we will be actioning our reintegration plan which can be viewed on our webpage here. The menu on the right side includes the Reintegration Plan, Physical Campus Checklist and a separate FAQ list. Employees are encouraged to complete and acknowledge four informational modules on COVID-19 Prevention that are available to employees to view on the Paycom Employee Self-Service site (Symptoms of Coronavirus, How Does COVID-19 Spread?, How Do I Protect Myself from COVID-19? and What Do I Need to Know About Handwashing?).
Every day the Taskforce is working to make the campus compliant and ensure our staff and faculty return to work in an environment that protects your health, safety and well-being. At all times we will continue to regularly clean and sanitize work and common spaces as well as clinical and teaching areas, as well as reinforcing preventative behaviors such as social distancing, face coverings and hand washing among other required standards. The Self-Observation/Health Questionnaire will continue to be used before any employee returns to campus.
