Mindfulness Program goes digital

Life Chiropractic College West - Northern California

In appreciation for these changing times, the beings who brought you a successful Mindfulness Program (Lori Pino and Kyrah Bacote) for the past year and a half will continue to serve you by presenting meaningful, digital offerings throughout the spring quarter.

You can look forward to:

• Weekly links to videos produced by the Greater Good Science Center (GGSC) in Berkeley on topics such as, “Secrets of the Vagus Nerve,” “Understanding Neuroplasticity” and “Self-Compassion.”
• Insights from our own campus gems (Dr. Herby & Dr. Jan) into stress relief, self-care and support around the limitations and disruptions associated with COVID-19.
• GGSC Greater Good In Action Practices for maintaining awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts and bodily sensations.
• Free resources for managing the stressors that arise now or any time.

All of the above information will be posted onto various digital platforms such as the Mindfulness LCCW Facebook page, the Life West Student Body community page, Life West’s Voice and anywhere else we deem appropriate for the community to access.

We encourage students, staff, faculty and administration to utilize these resources for connection and peace and use them to assist us to move forward and into the next quarter with more cohesion, clarity, and energy.

May the light shine brighter than ever.
