Bea Goncalves and Nina Martinez, whose offices were formerly located in the Academic Success Center, are now serving Life West students, faculty and staff in different places on campus.
Bea’s desk is located in the Office of Academic Affairs reception area, which will allow her to work in closer proximity to Dr. Dave Straub as the Academic Compliance Officer. Nina, the Faculty Administrative Assistant, now works at the former reference desk in the library, which is part of the college’s new Testing Center.
“By positioning people and offices in a way that serves students better, we are committed to creating a more successful student experience,” said Vice President of Academic Affairs Pardeep Kullar, Ed.D. “OAA is delighted with the move as it will make it easier for Bea and Nina to engage with and support students more effectively.”
Life West’s department chairs also relocated to OAA over break. As a result of these relocations, there are two new open study rooms in the Academic Success Center.
