This year, as Life Chiropractic College West celebrates 125 years of chiropractic at its annual conference, the WAVE, Life West President Ron Oberstein will talk about how the first chiropractic adjustment has impacted the world by introducing chiropractic care in his address, “125 Years: Changing the World.”

Expect to hear Dr. Oberstein focus on the science of yesterday and today as he talks about D.D. Palmer in 1895, and highlights both the historic and immediate benefits of chiropractic care, and what every chiropractor can do to help “create a Brighter Future For Humanity.”
About Dr. Oberstein: In 2017, Dr. Oberstein was named the third president of Life Chiropractic College West. He had been acting interim president before that, and was on the Board of Regents for many years prior to the interim appointment. He graduated from Life Chiropractic College (now Life University) in 1981 and has owned private practices in both Boston and San Diego. Dr. Oberstein lectures worldwide on vitalistic chiropractic and has led many service trips to countries such as India and Tonga, where he helps bring chiropractic care to under-served populations. He is also the past Vice President of the International Chiropractors Association.
WAVE 20: Dr. Oberstein is looking forward to welcoming participants to Life West’s Hayward campus this year, where the WAVE will be held for the first time. “I am thrilled to be hosting the WAVE at the college, where our alumni and friends can see what a great campus we have, along with meeting our wonderful students, who will carry the flag for chiropractic into the future,” he said.
Looking ahead to August: The WAVE is many things – a place to learn, a place to connect, a place to find inspiration. What does Dr. Oberstein hope participants will take away from this special chiropractic event? “My hope is everyone takes away insightful knowledge, information that can be used on Monday morning, and as importantly, a HUGE CONNECTION with their colleagues and friends … especially after the COVID-19 crisis.”
