Most prospective students tell us that their visit was the most important thing they did while researching which school to attend. Once you tour the facility and interact with our community, you will see why Life Chiropractic College West is your best choice.

Life West California:

Life West California is located in Hayward, California, just 20 miles southeast of San Francisco, 25 miles north of San Jose, and 12 miles south of Oakland.

TRAVEL BY AIR: There are three airports that serve the San Francisco Bay Area:

San Francisco Airport (SFO)
Oakland Airport (OAK)
San Jose Airport (SJC).

The Oakland Airport is the closest at only 20 minutes from campus.

USE PUBLIC TRANSIT: Life West is accessible using local rail transportation, which is called Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), and the bus system (AC Transit).

If you use the BART, you will want to exit at the South Hayward station, which is available off the Green Line and the Yellow Line.

The South Hayward BART stop is about 4 miles from campus. Once you get off the BART you will need to take a bus to campus.

If you use the bus, you will ideally use bus route #83 which has a stop at Clawiter Road right next to campus. Several other bus routes come near enough to campus for you to walk the final few blocks.

We highly recommend visitors refer to the BART and AC Transit online to view schedules and estimate travel time. Travel time varies.

ONCE ON CAMPUS:

Where to Park: Visitors are allowed to park anywhere on campus. Please select a spot near the front door if you are visiting the Monte H. Greenawalt Life West Health Center (clinic). If you are coming to Life West for Champions Weekend or a Campus Visit, you will also want to park near the Monte H. Greenawalt Life West Health Center entrance.
Admissions Location: The Admissions (Enrollment) Department is located in the back of the campus, on the side of campus adjacent to Clawiter Street. The Admissions Department can be found just inside the rear entrance, on the left side of the entrance hall.
Clinic Location: The Clinic is located inside the front entrance to the college, on the Industrial Blvd side of campus. The Health Center check in desk can be found immediately to the left upon entering the building.
Learning Commons Location: The Lief West Learning Commons (our library) is located just inside the rear entrance (classroom entrance) to the college, on the Clawitter Street side of the property. Once you enter the building, the library is the first door on the right.

Life West Nebraska:

818 Bruin Boulevard, Bellevue, NE 68005

Life West Nebraska is located in Bellevue, Nebraska, just 10 miles south of downtown Omaha and 5 miles from Offutt Air Force Base.

There is one major airport that serves the Omaha area:

Eppley Airfield (OMA)

Eppley Airfield is approximately 15 miles from the Life West Nebraska campus, offering easy access for out-of-town visitors.

At Eppley Airfield (OMA) in Omaha, there are several options for car rentals and car share services:

Car Rental & Car Ride-Hailing Services:

1. Eppley Airfield has a variety of rental car companies located on-site.
2. Uber and Lyft are available at Eppley Airfield and can be booked through their respective mobile apps.
3. Turo (Peer-to-Peer Car Sharing) is also available for pre-booking via the Turo app, where you can rent vehicles directly from individual car owners. Cars can be delivered to the airport or nearby locations.

Traditional Taxi services are available for travelers who prefer them over rideshare or car rental options.

These services provide flexible transportation options for visitors to Omaha and Life West Nebraska in Bellevue.

USE PUBLIC TRANSIT:
Life West Nebraska can be accessed via Metro Transit, with a destination of 1000 Galvin Road near Lot A on campus. Metro Transit has a connection at the OMA airport as well as through the city.

ONCE ON CAMPUS:

Where to Park:
Visitors are welcome to park in any available spot on campus. We recommend parking in Lot D near the main entrance of the Educational Services Building for easy access to classrooms and administrative offices. If you are visiting for a Campus Discovery Day or a meeting with the Admissions team, park anywhere in Lot D and follow the pathway along the pond to the main entrance of the Educational Services Building.
Admissions Location:
The Admissions Department is located on the first floor of the Educational Services Building, accessible through the front entrance. Once inside, follow the signs to the left of the waterfall to the Admissions Office, in room 4105
Classrooms Location:
The majority of Life West’s Classrooms are located on the first floor of the Educational Services Building, with lecture classrooms and technique classrooms. Signs throughout the building will guide you to specific rooms, and staff will be available to assist.

Biochemistry & Anatomy and Physiology Labs along with the Testing center are located in the R. Joe Dennis Learning Center. This building is just steps away from the Educational Services Building. Additionally located in the LCN is a student lounge and break room. Microwaves, refrigerators and vending machines are available.

The Hitchcock Humanities building, located at 1040 Bruin Blvd, houses the Criss Auditorium as well as additional classrooms. Every Friday, the Life West student body meets in the auditorium for Seminar. This weekly meeting is focused on the Art, Science, and Philosophy of Chiropractic, dedicating an hour to hearing from chiropractic professionals and engaging students and deepening their understanding of the core principles of chiropractic care.

Freeman/Lozier Library:
Located at 1028 Bruin Blvd, the Freeman/Lozier Library at Bellevue University is located on the main campus and serves as a central resource for students, faculty, and visitors. The commons provides resources and study spaces for students and visitors alike.
