Life West is expanding the higher education, accreditation, assessment, and institutional leadership experience represented on its Board of Regents.
Moving Life West forward means strengthening the College at every level, including governance.
As part of that work, Life Chiropractic College West has welcomed Dr. Jeanna Mastrodicasa to its Board of Regents. Her appointment brings nearly three decades of higher education experience to the Board, with particular expertise in accreditation, institutional assessment, academic programs, college operations, student affairs, and student success.
This is one of the steps Life West is taking to ensure its governance includes the experience and perspective needed to support a strong, sustainable higher education institution.
Adding experience where it matters
Dr. Mastrodicasa currently serves as Assistant Provost and Director of Institutional Assessment at the University of Florida, where she works within the Office of Accreditation, Assessment and Curriculum.
In that role, she supports institutional assessment and academic quality across more than 700 undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree and certificate programs.
Throughout her career, she has worked across many of the areas that directly contribute to institutional effectiveness, including accreditation, assessment, curriculum, college operations, student affairs, student programs, and academic advising. She has also worked closely with faculty, staff, students, and university leadership.
That breadth of experience brings an important higher education perspective to the Life West Board as the College continues strengthening its governance and institutional operations.
“Dr. Mastrodicasa brings a depth of higher education experience that will be incredibly valuable to Life West. Her expertise in accreditation, institutional assessment, academic programs, and student success strengthens the Board’s ability to support the College as we continue building for the future. We are pleased to welcome her to the Life West community.”
Dr. Jimmy Nanda, Chair, Life West Board of Regents
A career focused on higher education
Dr. Mastrodicasa holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Florida and an M.S. in College Student Personnel from the University of Tennessee. She also holds a J.D. in Law and an A.B.J. in Public Relations from the University of Georgia.
Beyond her university leadership, she serves on nonprofit boards in her Gainesville, Florida community and is involved with the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA).
Strengthening an institution requires the right combination of experience, accountability, perspective, and leadership.
Adding Dr. Mastrodicasa to the Board of Regents is one tangible step in that work. Her appointment expands the higher education expertise represented on the Board and brings additional experience in areas directly connected to institutional effectiveness, accreditation, academic quality, and the student experience.
As Life West moves forward, the College will continue taking deliberate steps to strengthen its governance, academic operations, and institutional foundation.
This is one of those steps.
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Jeanna Mastrodicasa to the Life West community.
