Backcountry Chiropractic co-founder Dr. Alex Paul, DC, PAK, has been recognized in a member highlight by Women of the Summit, a professional network connecting women across Summit County, Colorado. The feature spotlights the Frisco-based practice she co-founded and the chiropractic services it brings to families throughout the region.
Dr. Paul’s path to chiropractic began with injuries sustained after high school, experiences that not only affected her physically but opened her eyes to a broader understanding of health. That perspective guided her through an undergraduate degree in Integrative Physiology and Neuroscience at the University of Colorado Boulder and on to Life Chiropractic College West, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the top of her class as part of the Class of 2022. She also holds certification in Applied Kinesiology and brings additional training in nutrition, advanced laboratory analysis, and herbal medicine to her practice.

Before co-founding Backcountry Chiropractic alongside Dr. Danny Otis, DC, LCP, DPhCS, Dr. Paul delivered care to students and athletes in Wisconsin school districts and developed a high school athletic program centered on performance and injury prevention.
At Backcountry Chiropractic, Dr. Paul and Dr. Otis serve patients across every stage of life, from infants through older adults, with individualized care plans rooted in spinal assessment and nervous system function. Summit County’s active outdoor culture, from skiing and hiking to snowboarding and running, creates real and recurring physical demands, and both doctors bring firsthand knowledge of those pursuits to their patient care.
The Women of the Summit recognition adds to the practice’s growing presence in the Frisco community and reflects the kind of meaningful local connection Dr. Paul has worked to build since opening her doors.
