Since 1981
Our Founders
Life Chiropractic College West shares a history with Life University. In March 1981, the efforts of Dr. George Anderson, Dr. George Wentland and Dr. Sid E. Williams, then president and founder of Life Chiropractic College (now Life University), were instrumental in forming what is today called Life Chiropractic College West. Life University continues to maintain a close relationship with Life Chiropractic College West.
The vision
The Life West Campus Goals & Strategic Plan
Life West’s strategic plan provides guidance and direction for Life Chiropractic College West, identifying seven strategic initiatives and a vision to Create a Brighter Future for Humanity.
Our goals stretch from delivering a clinically and philosophically inspired doctorate program to developing a culture specific to Life West. We encourage our students to embrace the idea of Give, Do, Love, Serve and use their talents and education to bring chiropractic to the world.
Diversity and inclusion are also a vital part of our strategic plan, and we are actively fostering awareness throughout our campus culture.

Leadership & Accredidation
Our President, Board of Regents & Accrediting Body
Life Chiropractic College West is led by President Ron Oberstein, DC, and the Life West Board of Regents. Our chiropractic college is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the Council on Chiropractic Education, an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. In addition to ensuring a high-quality education, this means our program is eligible for a wide range of financial aid benefits for students who qualify.
