DCs: Join Life West in Mexico City as a student mentor and patient provider during an upcoming chiropractic service trip.
Life Chiropractic College West is excited to expand students’ learning globally through our Global Service Trip Program in Mexico. Partnering with Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN) and other local organizations, Life West travels to Mexico City three times per year to provide free chiropractic care to the public.
As a participating DC, this is an amazing opportunity to both contribute to the outreach of chiropractic care in Mexico and serve as a mentor to the next generation of DCs as they gain invaluable real-world experience.
The Mexico service trip is known to collect over 2,000 patients per day. With many families attending, you’ll get to serve a variety of ages and garner new perspectives with each. You will immerse yourself in service, renewing the passion that originally drew many of us to this profession. Over and over, you’ll see the impact of chiropractic care and receive an immense outpouring of gratitude from the community.
In addition to the delivery of direct chiropractic care to as many patients as you can see throughout the clinic, DCs who attend this trip really do have a profound impact on their student intern counterparts. It would be difficult to overstate how rewarding this trip is for everyone who attends—patients, interns, and DCs alike.

It’s important to know that each service trip is different. Attendees should consult their trip’s detailed packet for all information specific to the trip they’re attending. That said, below you’ll find a representative itinerary for our Mexico City trip.
Covered by the registration fee: The registration fee covers shared hotel accommodations with another DC, most meals during the trip, and airport transfers for those traveling with the group.
Participants are responsible for the cost of: The service trip registration fee does not cover airfare, baggage fees, travel-related costs such as visas, COVID tests or otherwise. The fee also does NOT cover any costs incurred before or after the group component of this trip.
