RESPONSIBILITIES
The Continuing Education Assistant duties would be:
- Monitoring of continuing education seminars (weekends and evenings and some Thursdays when time allows between classes). This includes assisting speakers, check-in and registration of attendees (20 to 75 people), and enforcing attendance rules.
- If needed, provide clerical support to continuing education staff. Duties involve data input, processing of registrations and course evaluations, preparing mailings, and assembly of seminar notes and folders.
- In-person seminar setup on campus includes making copies, posting signs, and picking up equipment.
- Process attendance records in various formats.
- Prepares and distributes certificates of completion to seminar attendees.
- Builds and updates live and online courses.
- Reports attendance.
- Work on special projects when necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent public relations skills
- Dependability is a must
- Data entry skills with some knowledge of Word, Excel, and G-Suite
- Good organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Federal Work Study eligible.
