Local Service Administrative Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Local Service Administrative Assistant duties would be:

  • Attending local service sites with interns and DC at calendared dates/times/locations
  • Assisting DC and interns with patient flow
  • Ensuring that the names of all patients seen are on the sign-up sheet
  • Processing new patients – ensuring that Informed Consent and other documents are signed, and that DC performs the exam
  • Ensuring that SOAP notes are completed by interns and signed by DC
  • Explaining chiropractic to patients and answering questions about it
  • Assisting with set up and tear down of local service sites
  • Assisting with transport of equipment, as needed
  • Assisting with data entry based on services provided

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Friendly, outgoing, empathetic
  • Reliable, punctual, flexible
  • Good conversational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of Informed Consent forms, SOAP notes and other paperwork related to patient care
  • Willingness to learn
