Note Taker

JOB OUTLINE:

  1. Note-takers will agree to take clear, dark, legible, well-organized notes and to turn these notes to the student or the Academic Success Center 24 hours following the class in which they were taken.
  2. Note-takers will be required to sign a contract with LCCW that outlines that they understand that this is a confidential arrangement between themselves & LCCW and that they may not be permitted to know the name of the recipient of their notes.
  3. If either the Note-taker or the recipient of the notes has problems with the note-taking assignments, they will discuss the issue with the Academic Advisor or the Director of the Academic Success Center for speedy resolution of the dilemma.
  4. Note-takers agree to attend all classes involved in the note-taking assignment. If they become ill or otherwise unable to take notes, they will arrange for a backup Note-taker and instruct that person to make a copy of their notes available to the Academic Success Center ASAP. Any financial arrangements for the backup Note Taker are between that person and the original Note Taker. LCCW will not be involved in this relationship.

**Accommodations can be made for accommodated students if the note-taker is not concurrently enrolled in the course for sed student(s).
