The 73rd commencement of Life Chiropractic College West filled the Standard Process Assembly Hall with over 70 eager students waiting for their time to receive their diploma and their families and friends ready to congratulate them. The graduation ceremony honored the graduates of the Winter, Spring and Fall 2018 class.
The ceremony kicked off with a National Anthem, performed by a live band and Jessica McKillican on vocals.
Life West President, Dr. Ron Oberstein, took the stage and thanked everyone for coming to celebrate the momentous day. He called up Valedictorians Kaitlyn Shikada and Suzanna Wong to deliver their speeches amongst their peers. Tim Saltys, Kira Wong, and Aubrey Hefner then joined soon after to receive their honors as Salutatorians.
Presidential Awards were given out to Joshua Grey and Kevin Camacho, as they were recognized for their outstanding performance in the Monte H. Greenawalt Health Center.
Dr. Rob Sinnott served as the commencement speaker of the night and congratulated the graduates on the momentous journey they are about to embark on.

The ceremony culminated with each graduate crossing the stage to receive their diploma, the recitation of the chiropractic oath, and the students flipping their tassels from right to left as they officially became graduates of Life Chiropractic College West.
The newly minted Life West alumni are now ready to go out and change the world as Doctors of Chiropractic.
