Reminders about email policies and procedures

As we move into August, the Life West marketing team is continuing to prepare for the WAVE, our annual conference scheduled for Aug. 21-23.

This year’s WAVE takes place in a fully online environment for the first time. We are constantly exploring new and innovative ways to publicize and deliver the conference and delight our network of alumni and friends.

With less than two weeks until showtime, our efforts will be focused on the WAVE. With this in mind, we are asking the campus to follow marketing’s process for requesting support, which is outlined below.

– All communications requests from faculty, staff, and administration must be submitted through Wrike, to ensure correct documentation of each request and the transfer of all relevant information. Requests sent by email or Google Hangouts messages to members of the marketing team are not encouraged and may take more time to respond to.

– We will do our best to accommodate urgent or time-sensitive requests, but same-day turnaround of emails cannot be guaranteed during this time. In order to ensure prompt sending of emails, please submit your request at least one day in advance.

– Non-emergency communications will be routed to Voice, which is emailed to faculty, staff, and students each Monday.

– The deadline for Voice submissions at 12 pm each Thursday is a firm one. During this time, we will not accept any late submissions, so please get those in promptly.

Your cooperation with leveraging our marketing policy is greatly appreciated, as it enables us to be expedient and operationally efficient. Our goal is to make the WAVE an online powerhouse of chiropractic learning that reflects the work being done at Life West to advance the chiropractic profession. Your understanding and compliance will provide invaluable assistance.
