Student Loan Check Delivery Information

The Business Office mailed refund checks on Thursday, July 9, to students residing out of the area or out of state. For students living in Hayward, Union City, Fremont, San Lorenzo, San Leandro, or Castro Valley, checks will not be mailed and will be available for in-person pickup on Monday, July 13. Tables and staff will be outside the Library entrance from 11 am to 1 pm during your scheduled lunch break. After Monday, the checks will have to be picked up at Teresa Geyer’s roll-up window.

Students who live outside the six cities cited above who previously indicated they would like to pick up their check will be able to do so. Checks will be held and will be available for pickup as outlined.

Students on campus earlier than those hours should follow the protocol for entering the building and proceed to the roll-up window of the Business Office. Teresa Geyer in the Business Office will be available to students for in-person check delivery only on Monday, July 13, and Tuesday, July 14. Please plan on picking up your check on one of those two days.

Any student who did not confirm their mailing address with the Registrar’s Office may also pick up their refund check on campus during the designated days/times. If you are one of these students and do not live in the area or live out of state, you must email your address confirmation to Eunice Campoy (ecampoy@lifewest.edu) in the Registrar’s Office before your check can be mailed.

New students matriculating summer 2020 – for all 1st quarter students refund checks will be mailed.
